How it works
We look before we prescribe.
Most agencies quote a package on the first call. We start with what families see, then what your own numbers say, and only then recommend what to do about it.
Free audit
Outside in · free
We use public information only, so we need nothing from you to start. We search for care in your market the way a family does and compare what comes up for you against the communities nearby.
- Where you show up in Google search and maps, and who shows up above you
- Whether ChatGPT and Google's AI answers name you, and what they cite when they do
- Your Google profile and reviews next to your competitors'
- Your listings on A Place for Mom, Caring.com and the other directories families read
- Whether your website answers what families ask before a tour: cost, care levels, staffing, a typical day
You get a 20 minute walkthrough and a written copy to keep. If you'd like to go further, the next step is the Diagnostic.
Community Diagnostic
Inside out · paid
The audit shows what families see. The Diagnostic shows what happens after they reach out. With your permission we go through your CRM and your last twelve months of move-ins.
- Where your move-ins came from, by source
- What each move-in cost, by source, including referral fees
- How fast inquiries get a reply, tested with your permission
- How many tours become move-ins, and where families drop off
- Your at-risk census and the occupancy you're aiming for
It ends with a readout: what we found, what we recommend, and three ways to work together at three levels of investment.
The work
Monthly
You pick the option that fits. Setup takes the first few weeks: tracking into your CRM, ad accounts in your name, listings and your Google profile cleaned up. After that the work runs every month.
- One monthly report in the numbers you already use: inquiries, tours, move-ins and cost per move-in by source
- Tours and move-ins sent back to Google so the campaigns learn which families become residents
- Budget moved toward the sources that fill rooms, and away from the ones that don't
Who we work with
We're a good fit for some communities and the wrong fit for others.
We'd rather say so on the first call than three months in.
A good fit
- Assisted living, memory care, or both
- 20 or more units, mostly private pay
- Owner-operated or a small group, where the owner or board makes the call
- A budget for ads, or a plan to fund one
- Willing to share CRM access and answer new inquiries the same day
Probably not a fit
- Skilled nursing facilities
- A census that is mostly Medicaid
- Buildings that can't staff more move-ins right now
Under 20 units? Ellipse is built for residential homes and smaller communities.
